This program was designed specifically to address two of the most significant challenges facing colleges today, retention and graduation rates. Our nation's colleges, more than ever, have an increasing responsibility to support students as they make important decisions about their education, fields of study, and career goals.

• It’s Your Decision, A Commonsense Guide to Making Better Choices - The Book  It's Your Decision: A Commonsense Guide to Making Better Choices was written with the college experience in mind and its content can help college students learn how to make the important decisions and choices that will keep them in school, allow them to complete their degrees, and reward them with satisfying careers and successful lives.
   
• It’s Your Decision™ - CD and Presenter’s Guide  College faculty and counselors can receive copies of the presentation and Presenter's Guide to use when teaching students this successful approach to decision making.
   
• The College Success Planner should be used to help students collect information that they will need when making personal, educational, and career decisions that will affect their entire life. This Planner should be completed by each student as they gather and organize information with the assistance of their counselors, faculty advisors, and Success Team members. The Planner serves as a foundation for on-going discussions and decisions that the students will make throughout their years in college.
   
• Peer Mentors for Student Success  In creating cultures of student success, peer mentors provide unique support for students as they acquire and employ the decision-making skills necessary to make good educational, career, and personal choices. Throughout the semester, students selected to be peer mentors lead small group discussions with fellow students. These discussions are enhanced by references to It’s Your Decision, A Commonsense Guide to Making Better Choices.
   
• Success Team Inventory  The student success team is comprised of those individuals the student believes can provide the information and support needed to address personal and/or academic issues and to move forward with educational and career decisions. The Success Team Inventory provides structure and direction for students as they develop their personal support teams.
   
• Creating a Culture of Student Success Toolkit™   A comprehensive and innovative collection of tools designed to create cultures of student success in colleges by providing a personalized experience for every student.
